Lets get your Hotplate storefront looking just how you want it!
The best way to customize your storefront colors is to use a desktop/laptop. First open your account settings in one tab of your browser, and in another tab open your storefront. (You can find your storefront link at the top of your account settings if you do not have it already).
Once you have them both open, scroll to the “Branding” section of your settings.
Here is an example setup on my laptop, where I split my tabs into two windows so I can see them at the same time:
We provide some default colors for you to choose from as well as the ability to set your own custom colors. If picking from the defaults, first choose your primary color and then scroll to the bottom to save your changes and see them reflected on your storefront, you can play around with the defaults for all the settings to find a mix you like.
In this case, I am choosing the dark green for my primary color, and making my header black!
Hotplate lets you set your own custom colors using hex codes. Hex codes are essentially just numbers that websites use to represent colors. If you have already done some digital or branding work, you may already know your hex codes. Hex codes always start with a # and are usually 6 characters long.
To set a color to a hex code, click the rainbow button and type it into the input. Here is me setting my own custom header color to a hex code:
